Now...The short term forecast for the genesee valley and northern finger lakes. Lake effect snow will continue across much of the region this morning, except for the southern sections of monroe county, and the eastern halves of wayne and Ontario counties. Most of the lake effect snow will be on the lighter side, but some heavier activity May be found at Times over the northern sections of monroe and cayuga counties, where snow May reduce visibility at Times to 1 mile or less. Be on the alert for slippery conditions on any untreated surfaces, especially where snow is falling.
