Now...An area of low pressure in South Carolina will advance northeast into the coastal plain of North Carolina through 430 pm this afternoon. A warm front will surge northward into the coastal plain as the area of low pressure approaches. Expect temperatures to rise into the upper 50s to lower 60s in the coastal plain... And perhaps as far west as the triangle. Additionally...Due to strong pressure falls ahead of the low...Southeasterly wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph can be expected.
