Now...Through 2 pm est...A cluster of strong thunderstorms over the gulf coastal waters of southwest Florida will be moving toward the metro collier county coastline. Mariners can expect occasional lightning strikes, wind gusts in excess of 34 30 knots and very heavy rains. Residents of metro collier including Naples and Marco island can expect strong thunderstorms from about 130 pm est through much of the rest of the afternoon. All activity will be moving northeast at About 20 miles an hour.
