Now...Winter weather advisory in effect through tonight... Light snow...Northwest winds 30 to 35 mph and gusts to 55 mph will continue this evening producing hazardous travel conditions after nightfall. Snowfall rates of less than 1/4 inch per hour are likely with visibility falling to 1 mile in snow and blowing snow. This snow was associated with a large intense storm system centered over the upper midwest. The storm will affect the central and northern plains throughout the night and into Saturday morning as it drifts slowly east.
