Now...Through 1 pm...A line of showers will rapidly move offshore. Cool and breezy conditions will rush in behind the cold front this afternoon. The heaviest showers will be concentrated along coastal areas of Mississippi and extreme southeast Louisiana where rainfall rates will range from a quarter to up to three quarters of an inch per hour. Motorists traveling along i-10 from slidell to pascagoula should be on the lookout for ponding of the roadway and reduced visibilities below one half mile. Gp
