Now...Mumerous rain showers and isolated thunderstorms will move east over the eastern sacramento valley, the foothills, and into the mountains. At 610 the strongest storms extended from just west of corning to just east of shingletown, these showers were affecting i-5, highway 36, and highway 44. Some of the thunderstorms will contain small hail, lightning, and heavy downpours.
