Now...Winter weather advisory remains in effect through 6 pm... Through the rest of the afternoon...Narrow bands of light to briefly moderate snow will continue forming across and moving southward across portions of south central Nebraska...Mainly affecting areas east of a line from loup city to kearney to superior. Although additional snowfall is unlikely to exceed one half inch in most places...Sustained northwest winds of 20 to 25 mph with gusts to around 30 mph will continue presenting issues with blowing and drifting snow...And periodic visibility reductions to less than 3/4 mile. While these areas of off and on light snow will persist into the evening hours...Winds will continue to slowly subside. Through 600 pm...Sustained speeds will ease below 20 mph in most areas...With gusts lowering to around 25 mph.
