Regional Weather Discussion...Light rain will continue to spread slowly northward from north Texas and southern Oklahoma into portions of central Oklahoma. Through the early evening hours...The rain will be generally located south of interstate 40. Light sleet May briefly mix with the rain across southern Oklahoma and north Texas....But since surface temperatures will remain above freezing into the evening hours... No travel problems are anticipated due to the sleet. The wet weather is occurring in response to an upper level storm system moving through southwest Texas. The track of the storm is expected to result in the highest chances for precipitation being across mainly southern Oklahoma and north Texas. Temperatures through the evening hours will range from the upper 40s to upper 30s.
