Now...Several bands of lake effect snow will continue to impact northern Indiana and southwest Michigan this evening. The strongest band extending from st. Joseph Michigan to kendallville Indiana will move slowly southwest affecting cities including Albion... Ligonier...Goshen...Elkhart... South bend...Niles... And benton harbor by 930 pm est. Visibility in this snow band May fall under a quarter mile with snowfall accumulations up to an inch in an hour as it moves through. Some major highways that will likely be impacted by the lake effect snow bands this evening include interstate 94... Route 33... And the Indiana toll road between mile Markers 40 and 100.
