Now...The short term forecast for erie, genesee, and Wyoming counties. A batch of light lake effect snow and flurries continues to travel northeastward up lake erie this afternoon. At 440 pm these snow showers were reaching the downtown buffalo area and southern grand island. Activity will continue to move inland towards north tonawanda...Amherst...And Alabama. A dusting of snow will occur with this activity as it continues to move inland late this afternoon and into the early evening hours. Flurries will be found elsewhere through the evening hours.
