Now...Through 1 am...Numerous showers and a few thunderstorms will continue to move into lower acadiana off vermilion bay and the coastal waters east of grand chenier. Movement of the storms is northeast at 20 knots. Rainfall rates between a half inch to an inch an hour will be possible between forked island and new iberia. Elsewhere...Scattered showers will emerge out of the coastal waters west of grand chenier. These showers will move inland as far as the i-10 corridor from beaumont and lake charles over to crowley.
