These storms have the potential to produce strong gusty winds up to 40 mph...Light to moderate rainfall...And small hail. Snow showers and isolated thunder snow are possible at Higher elevations...Above 4500 feet...With little accumulation of snow expected. Motorists traveling on interstate 8 west of imperial...And on interstate 10 south of joshua tree national park should be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions and slick roadways.
