Now...The short term forecast for the niagara frontier. A steady moderate rain will continue through late evening. Rainfall rates of around a tenth of an inch per hour are expected. This will result in ponding of water on roads and in poor drainage areas... Especially across the eastern suburbs of buffalo where additional runoff from snowmelt is occurring. The rain is expected to diminish to more intermittent showers from south to north later this evening.
