Now...A blizzard warning continues for parts of eastern Oklahoma with a winter storm warning in effect for northwest Arkansas. A winter weather advisory is in effect for southeast Oklahoma. Bands of snow continue wrap around the back side of the winter storms and stream across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Periods of heavy snow are sill occurring at A few locations. At 120 am the the heavies snow bands were across benton...Carroll... Washington...Madison and franklin counties. An addition 2 inches of snow is possible in some of these areas this morning before the snow ends. The last band of snow with the storm extended from osage county...Across tulsa...In to southern le flore county. Up to an inch of additional snow is possible in spots along this band and it moves east. The snow has ended west of a line from ponca city to bristow to mcalester. Northwest winds of gusting to 30 mph is causing blowing and drifting of the snow...Resulting in the visibility occasionally reduce to around 1/4 mile. Travel is hazardous across most of the area...And impossible in many areas.
