Now...Areas of rain will continue to move northeast across southeast Missouri...Western Kentucky...And southern Illinois this morning. Through 10 am...The largest area of rain will cross southern Illinois from Marion...Carbondale...And harrisburg...To carmi Illinois. Some of this rain will be briefly heavy. Another area of rain will move northeast from Tennessee across the purchase area and lakes region of western Kentucky. Rainfall rates will be around one tenth of an inch per hour in the heaviest rain areas.
