Now...Winter storm warning in effect from 9 pm this evening to 6 am est Sunday... Widespread light snow will begin to overspread the northern shenandoah valley...Northern Virginia and the central potomac highlands through 6 pm. Snowfall amounts will average around a trace. Temperatures will remain steady in the lower 30s. Snow will become more widespread later this evening.
