Now...Showers and isolated thunderstorms will persist over extreme southeast Kansas and the Missouri ozarks. This activity will remain scattered in nature...And develop and occur at Random. Brief periods of heavy rain and cloud to ground lightning will occur with the stronger storms through 3 pm. Strong storms will impact southeast Kansas parts of western Missouri through late this afternoon. These storms could produce some small hail up to the size of dimes.
