Regional Weather Discussion...An area of light to occasionally moderate snow... Mixing at Times with rain across southeast Oklahoma and locations near and south of the Red River... Will continue to move south across parts of southern Oklahoma and western north Texas this afternoon. Temperatures were generally at Or below freezing along and north of the interstate 44 corridor in western Oklahoma with readings in the mid to upper 30s to the south. Light accumulations of wet snow will be possible through early afternoon... Mainly south of a hobart... To anadarko... To pauls valley line as an upper level storm system continues to track south and east into southwest Texas. In locations where the temperatures are below freezing... Some slick spots are likely to occur... Especially on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses. A winter weather advisory remains in effect for much of southwest Oklahoma and portions of central and south-central Oklahoma and portions of western north Texas through 6 pm today. To the north of the snow... Across the northern half of Oklahoma... Colder and drier air will continue to filter south on the back side of the storm system with temperatures in the 20s and 30s. Skies will also continue to clear from north to south this afternoon as the storm system producing the rain and snow continues to push south into Texas. This will result in another cold night as temperatures fall into the teens and low to middle 20s.
