Now...Scattered light rain will continue to diminish early this evening across the potomac highlands...Shenandoah valley...And the eastern West Virginia panhandle....As the cold front with which the rain is associated with continues to push further east of the region. Most areas will only receive a trace of additional precipitation through 700 pm est. Northwest winds of 10 to 20 mph will continue...With temperatures falling into the lower 40s.
