Now...Look for light snow to continue across most of southern Wisconsin this morning into this afternoon. The snow was located mainly south of a line from the Wisconsin dells...To Juneau...To port Washington. Light snow was also seen on occasion north of this line. The snow was moving east at 20 mph. New snow accumulations up to an inch are expected with the light snow. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are expected across the milwaukee and madison metro areas...With 2 to 3 inches mainly southwest of madison. Amounts under an inch are expected from the montello to sheboygan areas. The back edge of the light snow was located from a LA crosse...To platteville...To rock island Illinois line. The back edge of the snow should reach a lone rock...To monroe line by noon...And a Wisconsin dells...To madison...To beloit line by 130 pm. Expect reduced visibilities to 1/2 mile within any moderate snow bands. The snow will cover roads...And will make for slippery driving conditions. Motorists are advised to slow down...And leave plenty of stopping distance ahead of your vehicle.
