Temperatures in this area vary widely from just above freezing to at Or below freezing...Especially in low lying areas. This means precipitation will remain mixed through the night... With sleet and freezing rain continuing especially in the northeast kingdom of Vermont and low lying sheltered valleys. Light ice accumulation is possible along and east of the green mountains in Vermont. Area roadways could quickly become slick...Especially on bridges and back roads. Motorists are urged to use caution when driving. Slow down and leave plenty of roam between you and the car in front of you.
