The heaviest rain will fall across eastern essex county in New York...As well as western chittenden...Grand isle and western franklin counties in Vermont. Ponding of water on area roadways will occur as a result during this time. Drivers should exercise caution and slow down. Rain will end from south to north across the area...Beginning around 1030 am in rutland county and spreading north. Also...Across portions of north central Vermont...Some untreated roadways May be slick this morning and travelers should use caution if out driving.
