Moderate to occasionally heavy snow will continue across the central Virginia foothills...The central shenandoah valley and across the southern potomac highlands this evening. Through 10 pm...The heaviest snow will affect areas along and south of a line from staunton to charlottesville to spotsylvania. Snowfall totals along and south of this line could average one half to one quarter of an inch an hour. Across rockingham...Highland and pendleton counties snowfall totals will be less...But totals of one to two tenths of an inch an hour will be likely.
