Very light freezing rain and sleet will begin to move across the shenandoah valley...Potomac highlands...Eastern West Virginia panhandle...And allegany and Washington counties in Maryland by 700 am est. More significant rain is expected to move into the region after sunrise. With temperatures in the lower 20s...Exposed surfaces will become lightly coated with ice. Motorists should use extreme caution this morning as roadways will likely be slick.
