Now...Winter weather advisory in effect until 1 pm est this afternoon... Light snow will continue to overspread the area from the southwest during the early morning hours. Snow May mix in with ice pellets...Especially across the shenandoah valley and northern Virginia. Snowfall accumulations of one to two inches are possible across the allegheny and potomac highlands through 5 am. Elsewhere...Snow and sleet accumulations will be under an inch.
