Now...Flood watch in effect until 10 am est this morning... Moderate to occasionally heavy rain will affect central Virginia into the Virginia piedmont through 4 am. Additional rainfall amounts up to one quarter of an inch are expected which May cause ponding of water on roadways. Rain will freeze on surfaces above 1500 feet in the blue ridge mountains. Ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch are expected across these areas. Temperatures will range from the upper 20s to near 30 in the blue ridge mountains to the mid an upper 30s elsewhere. Visibilities will be locally reduced to one mile or less at Times in rain.
