Now...Through 1230 pm est...The snow will diminish from west to east over the next couple hours. Amounts so far have ranged from a dusting to an inch and a half. An additional half inch will be possible as the snow exits northeast Tennessee and extreme southwest Virginia. Motorist should exercise caution as visibilities in snow showers will drop to less than a half of a mile.
