Now...Dense fog advisory in effect until 9 am est Thursday... Dense fog will persist this evening as a saturated airmass continues to cool. Visibilities below one-quarter mile will be common for many areas along and east of the blue ridge...And in the shenandoah valley. Fog is expected to continue through tonight as the saturated airmass will remain in place.
