Now...Scattered showers have developed across parts of north Texas this morning ahead of a strong cold front that will move through the region later today. Scattered showers extend from near sulphur springs to kaufman with additional showers developing farther west from near mineral wells to comanche. These areas of rain will produce mainly less than 1/10 of an inch through 11 am. A strong cold front is moving into far northwest portions of north Texas this morning...And will move across the rest of the area through the day. Temperatures will drop sharply behind the front into the 40s with gusty north winds. Additional areas of rain and isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop through the afternoon.
