Now...Through noon...Areas of light to occasionally moderate rain will become more numerous as they move north and northeast at 10 to 15 mph across south central Texas and the hill country. An occasional lightning strike is possible along the rio grande. Rainfall amounts up to one quarter inch are expected most areas with isolated amounts up to three quarters of an inch along the rio grande. Rainfall will continue through the afternoon. Motorist traveling late this morning and into the afternoon should allow extra travel time and remember to drive with caution as roadways will remain wet and slick.
