Through 8 pm...One area of snow will be affecting the southeastern and eastern parts of the Texas panhandle...Moving northeast at 20 mph. Snowfall intensity should be briefly light to moderate as this snow tracks over areas which include claude... Pampa...Clarendon...Mclean...Miami and canadian. Additional snowfall amounts should range between one half of an inch to one inch with isolated pockets near two inches...Especially near the cities of white deer...Pampa and miami. Another area of snow will slide northeast across the western parts of the Texas panhandle...And projected to affect areas which include romero and dalhart through 8 pm. Light snowfall rates are likely and should only amount to a few tenths of an inch of additional snow. As a reminder...A winter weather advisory is in effect for the Oklahoma and northern Texas panhandles through midnight and the southern Texas panhandle through noon cst Thursday. Otherwise...Low clouds and freezing fog will continue to impact mainly the southern half of the Texas panhandle through this evening. Visibilities May briefly fall to one quarter mile...But most locations should experience visibilities of 1 to 3 miles or greater. Motorists are urged to use caution if travel is necessary.
