Now...Shortly before 9 am...National weather service radar showed the last band of rain moving east across cameron...Willacy...And kenedy counties. The rain will generally be light except across southern willacy and cameron counties where moderate rainfall be likely. Hourly rainfall amounts will range from only a few hundredths of an inch across kenedy county to 1/10 of an inch or less across willacy and cameron counties. Even though the rain will be coming to an end...Motorists should still slow down and use caution while driving due to ponding of water that exists on many area roadways.
