Now...Through 7 pm...Scattered showers over lower southeast Texas into central, southwestern and northern portions of acadiana will race to the northeast at 45 mph. Expect brief gusts up to 30 mph as well as rainfall rates around a tenth of an inch an hour with these showers mainly around alexandria and oakdale.
