Now...Snow will continue through 6 am across the south plains and rolling plains. The heaviest snowfall bands were located from near morton...Across the city of lubbock...To near dickens where localized rates of up to one inch per hour could be observed. The bands were moving north at 20 mph while the entire area of snow was moving east at 10 mph. This will allow the heavier snowfall to spread into portions of the rolling plains around 6 am as well. Snowfall is expected to continue into the morning commute...And areas of moderate snowfall will combine with the northerly winds of 20 to 30 mph to result in poor visibilities and hazardous driving conditions.
