Now...Through 6 am...A strong cold front will move eastward across southeast Texas. Areas of showers and thunderstorms can be expected along and ahead of the front. Some thunderstorms will have the potential to become strong or severe. Rainfall amounts will average 1/4 to 1/2 inch with isolated 1 to 2 inch totals possible with the stronger activity. Expect falling temperatures and increasing west to northwest winds behind the front.
