Now...Precipitation across most of southeast Texas has now completely transitioned to snow. Exception to this are areas along the immediate coastline where temperatures remain in the low 40s. Light accumulations of around one inch have begun on grassy surfaces where heavier snow showers have developed and this is expected to continue through the mid afternoon hours. Roadways should remain wet through early afternoon. As temperatures continue to edge closer to the freezing Mark...Elevated roadways will start to become slick this afternoon as precipitation begins to freeze on the road surface. Motorists are strongly advised to use caution when traveling in and around the metro area today.
