Now...Snow will continue through 4 am...While increasing northerly winds of 20 to 25 mph across the northern south plains...Far southern Texas panhandle...And northern rolling plains could result in areas of blowing snow. The heaviest snowfall bands were located from near morton...Across the city of lubbock...To near dickens where localized amounts of up to one inch per hour could be observed. The bands were moving north at 20 mph while the entire area of snow was moving east at 10 mph. Snowfall is expected to continue into the morning commute and areas of moderate snowfall will combine with the northerly winds to result in poor visibilities and hazardous driving conditions.
