Now...Widespread rain showers and possibly a thunderstorm or two will continue to push northeast across the midsouth through the evening hours. Additional rainfall amounts of up to one half of an inch per hour are possible through 10 pm. Heaviest rainfall is currently confined north of interstate 40 and west of interstate 55.
