Motorist should exercise caution as the rainfall this evening has caused ponding of water on roadways and contributed to the development of fog across the area. Also precautions should be taken as strong gusty winds will continue to intensify overnight. Rainfall amounts will average between a tenth and a quarter of an inch per hour...With up to half an inch possible in a few of the stronger showers.
