FALLING TEMPERATURES...RESIDUAL WATER ON ROADS AND SIDEWALKS AND
FLURRIES OR PATCHY FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL PROVIDE THE THREAT FOR
ICY CONDITIONS THIS MORNING.
THE BIGGEST THREAT WILL BE THE FALLING TEMPERATURES. TEMPERATURES
ARE EXPECTED TO DROP BELOW THE FREEZING POINT ACROSS THE ENTIRE
AREA BETWEEN 3AM AND 6AM. WITH MANY ROADS STILL WATER COVERED FROM
YESTERDAYS SNOWFALL AND SNOW MELT...COLDER TEMPERATURES WILL CAUSE
UNTREATED SURFACES TO FREEZE. THE FIRST SURFACES TO FREEZE WILL BE
THOSE THAT ARE ELEVATED...SUCH AS BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.
THERE REMAINS THE THREAT FOR LIGHT PRECIPITATION THROUGH MID
MORNING. SOME LOCATIONS WILL SEE FLURRIES WHILE OTHERS MAY
EXPERIENCE FREEZING DRIZZLE.
IF YOU WILL BE TRAVELING THIS MORNING...BE PREPARED TO ENCOUNTER
ICY ROADS. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO SURFACE TEMPERATURES IN YOUR
