Regional Weather Discussion...Light freezing drizzle over northwest Oklahoma... Generally northwest of a line from mangum... To enid... To blackwell... Will continue into the early afternoon hours. Meanwhile... Patches of drizzle will persist over central Oklahoma. As temperatures continue to warm this afternoon... The area of freezing drizzle will gradually shrink. Elsewhere... A band of light snow has spread into the Texas panhandle. Some of this activity May reach parts of western Oklahoma during the afternoon. The precipitation across the region is being caused by a strong storm system moving through the central and southern rockies. A cold front will move through the region tonight and usher in strong northwest winds and very cold wind chills. Any winter precipitation that occurs is expected to be light and confined to mainly northern Oklahoma.
