Regional Weather Discussion...Light rain will continue to spread slowly north across north Texas and into parts of southwest Oklahoma through the afternoon. Light sleet May occasionally be mixed with the rain although surface temperatures will remain well above freezing. Meanwhile... Cloud cover across southern Oklahoma will also expand northward during the afternoon. The thickening clouds and increasing chances for rain are occurring in response to an upper level storm system moving east through southwest Texas. The track of the storm is expected to result in the highest chances for precipitation being across southern Oklahoma and north Texas. Afternoon temperatures will range from the upper 40s to the mid 50s with the coolest readings being under the thicker clouds and rain in southwest Oklahoma and western north Texas.
