Now...At 7 am...National weather service radars continued to indicate patches of drizzle and light rain over most of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. The activity was moving to the east northeast at 30 miles an hour. Temperatures are near or below freezing along and west of the interstate 44 corridor. Freezing drizzle and light freezing rain is falling across portions of osage and pawnee counties. A light of accumulation of ice there is causing multiple auto accidents. Through 9 am...The combination of freezing temperatures and light freezing rain and freezing drizzle will continue across osage...Pawnee...And Creek counties. While portions of roadways will remain ice free...Overpasses and bridges will likely freeze and remain ice covered. Additionally...Patchy ice will occur in those counties and should remain a hazard to driving until temperatures warm above freezing later this morning. A winter weather advisory remain in effect until for portions of northeast Oklahoma until 11 am.
