Snowfall rates of one half to one inch an hour are expected within these bands of snow. In addition, northwest winds will occasionally gust over 30 mph producing blowing and drifting snow. Travelers are urged to be prepared for rapidly changing road and visibility conditions, adjust your driving speed and take a little extra time get to your destinations.
