Now...Occasional light snow showers will continue through 1000 pm across eastern New York and adjacent western new england. Little or no additional accumulation is expected except perhaps locally up to an inch across the helderbergs...Northern taconics...Northern berkshires and southwestern greens. A gusty northwest wind to 35 mph however will continue to produce areas of blowing snow. Any snow that blows over a wet roadway will produce black ice and very slick conditions. Watch out for black ice especially on ramps...Bridges ...Overpasses and rural roads.
