Now...The short term forecast for the niagara frontier. Rain will continue across the area through 8 pm but we do expect it to taper off from south to north. Before it tapers off expect a tenth to two tenths of an inch per hour rate. Temperatures will be above freezing with a slow rise expected when the rain tapers off. Icy roads are not anticipated anywhere.
