Now...The short term forecast for the western finger lakes region. Scattered snow flurries will give way to more persistent snow showers after 3pm as an area of snow overspreads the region from the west. Temperatures will hover near 30 degrees and begin to fall into the upper 20s late in the day as colder air builds across the region. The combination of increased snowfall and colder temperatures will produce slippery conditions on untreated roadways, especially on overpasses, ramps and bridges.
