Now...The short term forecast for western New York. Flurries and scattered light snow showers will begin to diminish from north to south through mid morning. Additional accumulations will only be a light dusting in most locations...With up to a half inch across the higher terrain of ski country and the southern tier. Expect snow to end in niagara falls and medina by about 8 am...With the trailing edge crossing buffalo and batavia by 9 am. There was just enough snow overnight to produce some slick spots on untreated roads. Use caution this morning for the morning commute.
