Now...Periods of rain...Freezing rain and freezing drizzle will occur across the southern adirondacks...Mohawk valley...Schoharie valley...Southern Vermont and the berkshires through 8 pm. The precipitation will be mainly in the form of rain below 1000 feet with freezing precipitation at Elevations of 1000 feet and above. The steadiest precipitation will fall north of route 8 in the adirondacks and across southern Vermont. Additional ice accumulations between 530 pm and 8 pm will generally be less than a tenth of an inch across the higher terrain...With a few hundredths to a tenth of an inch of rainfall in the valleys.
