Now...The short term forecast for the genesee valley and northern finger lakes. Rain will continue to taper off to just scattered showers from southwest to northeast. For the most part surface temperatures will be above freezing but there could be a couple of icy spots across portions of eastern wayne and northern cayuga counties.
